Lunch was delicious! Lady had a shrimp quesadilla and I had the Chicken Diablo with a side beef taco. Habanero sauce was amazing (not too spicy) I had no complaints. Service was good no complaints at all. Next time we come here will definitely try the chile verde pork entree.

Busy and popular restaurant. They do take reservations by phone and not online. Good food overall and an excellent staff. They have some spicy options too.

These guys are incredible. I called the day before for a party of 12 at 5:30 on a Thursday - no problem. We get there 15 minutes early, can you go ahead and seat us? (5 of the 12 are under 3 years old) - no problem. We're outside on the patio, all by ourselves, heaters going... great service? No problem. Can I get corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas for my fish tacos - no problem. The food was amazing. The service was impeccable. The people were incredibly friendly. Looking for great Mexican food in the Monterey area? No problem, go to Peppers!

An absolutely wonderful Mexican restaurant with a wide range of options, even going as far as far as to include vegetarian options if you're into that. Although I can't speak for the quality of the vegetarian offerings, having never ordered one, the normal meal offerings are absolutely fantastic. Spicy salsa, perfectly cooked and seasoned steak, and a good amount of sides makes for a great meal. The well stocked drinks menu is a plus as well, with a good variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available and mixed drinks available on request. The only downside here is the fact that it can get incredibly crowded and overly hot in the restaurant. Aside from that, it's a perfect place to go for some of the best Mexican food in Pacific Grove.

I was impressed. I was by myself in a biz trip exploring the area after work. The yelps were good, so I headed to Peppers. Good street parking in a late Wednesday afternoon. Promptly greeted and sat with the menu. Server Josh also promptly greeted me and brought chips and salsa. I ordered the grilled prawns starter and they offered a salmon taco special for an entree. Both were excellent. Very good size portioned grilled salmon filets in the tacos. Josh was very attentive and friendly. Ambiance is a neighborhood restaurant with a very welcoming vibe. Highly recommended!

Busy restaurant in the quaint downtown Pacific Grove area, with great food options & generous portions. Service is friendly & efficient, with chips and salsa being brought to the table almost as soon as we were seated! For an appetizer we ordered the calamari which was crispy & well seasoned. The cilantro dipping sauce was tasty and not spicy at all, despite the menu description. I ordered the Mushroom and Artichoke enchiladas (one enchilada) and I really enjoyed my dish. It is a unique vegetarian spin on enchiladas! Even with just one enchilada, it is a very generous portion with the black beans and the rice. Doused in the "red and green sauce" as our server described it, it was really delicious! My husband had the Mission District Burrito Platter with steak. He really enjoyed his dish & despite the big serving he had no problem cleaning his plate! My daughter opted for the Combination Platter - a Chicken Taco & a Burrito. It was an absolutely huge serving and she could not finish it! There is a 3% service charge if you use your credit card, so just bear that in mind. We would definitely return to try other items on the menu when we are in the Pacific Grove area!
